The 2nd Congress on the History of Turkic Statehood, organized in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in collaboration with our Society, the Turkish Academy, and the Cuci Nation Research Institute, has commenced. The opening ceremony featured the participation of Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society; Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy; Janseyit Tüymebayev, Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; Prof. Dr. Istvan Vasary, Executive Director of the Budapest Representative Office of the Organization of Turkic States; Prof. Dr. Tsegmed Tserendorj, Vice President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences; and Dr. Jaksılık Sabitov, Director of the Cuci Nation Research Institute within the Scientific Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
