The “Türkiye-Oman Information Dialogue Symposium” was organized in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on January 20-21, 2025, in cooperation with the Turkish Historical Society and the Turkish Language Society acting within the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History and the Oman Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.
The event commenced with opening remarks by Oman’s Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, Rahma Bint İbrahim Al Mahrooqiye; the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History HE Prof. Dr. Derya Örs; and the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Muscat, HE Prof. Dr. Muhammet Hekimoğlu. It provided a comprehensive exploration of the historical and cultural relations between the two nations. During the event, Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society, hold talks with representatives from cultural institutions affiliated with the Sultanate of Oman.
