The 24th of the “Turkish Historical Society Centennial Library” that our Institution is establishing in all universities across the country was opened at Batman University with the participation of Turkish Historical Society President Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, University Rector Prof. Dr. İdris Demir, Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Filiz Akbaş, administrative and academic staff, and students. Özgen, who visited University Rector Prof. Dr. İdris Demir and Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Filiz Akbaş on the occasion of the event, also met with the faculty members of the University’s History and Turkish Language and Literature departments. Özgen, who talked about the activities currently carried out by our Society at the meeting, also listened to the faculty members’ expectations from our Institution.
