In cooperation with our institution and the Turkic Academy, the Turkic World History Workshop was held on February 24, 2025, at the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language, and History Campus.
The workshop commenced with speeches delivered by Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States; Prof. Dr. Şahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy; HE Prof. Dr. Derya Örs, President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language, and History; and Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society. The event brought together representatives and scholars from the history and archaeology institutes of both member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States, who engaged in discussions concerning the writing of the history of the Turkic world. The workshop concluded with the signing of decisions that included the establishment of a joint commission for this purpose.
