President of the Turkish Historical Society, Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, attended the ceremony held in Baku on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), with the participation of representatives of scientific and cultural institutions from different countries.
While in Baku to attend the ceremony, the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, H.E. Prof. Dr. Derya Örs; the President of the Turkish Historical Society, Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen; and the Rector of Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, paid a visit to the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Baku, H.E. Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün.
