Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen Attended the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names Meeting

Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society, attended the 2025 session of the United Nations Group of Experts on Geographical Names (UNGEGN) in New York, within the “Board of Experts on Geographical Names,” which was established to represent Türkiye within the framework of the UNGEGN.   In the course of the visit, Prof. Dr. Özgen and fellow Board members paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Türkiye to the United Nations, at the Turkish House.
