A Panel on the Legacy of September 4, 1919: From Congress to the Republic was Held

In commemoration of the 106^th anniversary of the Sivas Congress, our Society, in collaboration with Sivas Cumhuriyet University, organized a panel entitled “The Legacy of September 4, 1919: From the Congress to the Republic.” The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yunus Pustu, Vice President of the Turkish Historical Society; Prof. Dr. Salih Cem İnan and Prof. Dr. Süleyman Değirmen, Vice Rectors of Sivas Cumhuriyet University; as well as members of the university’s academic and administrative staff. The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Yüksel, with contributions from Prof. Dr. Neşe Özden and Instructor Dr. Serap Bozpolat Ayan, who provided scholarly insights into the historical significance of the Sivas Congress in the context of the Turkish history.
