Our institution’s General Reader Series, comprising 100 volumes prepared as a commemorative gift for the centennial anniversary of the Republic, was formally presented to the public and members of the press at a ceremony attended by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy. The event, hosted by the Atatürk Supreme Council Library— simultaneously inaugurated at its new premises—featured opening addresses delivered by the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy; the President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, H.E. Prof. Dr. Derya Örs; and the President of the Turkish Historical Society, Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özgen.
The Library of the Turkish Historical Society, which operates within the Atatürk Supreme Council Library—bringing together the libraries of four affiliated institutions under one roof—will also continue its services at the Sıhhiye Campus.
