The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye to Vienna, HE G\u00fcrsel D\u00f6nmez, and the President of the Turkish Historical Society, Prof. Dr. Y\u00fcksel \u00d6zgen. Subsequently, lectures were presented by Prof. Dr. Haluk Selvi, member of the Scientific Board of the Turkish Historical Society, and Melek Dil\u015fen Seymeno\u011flu, Head of Department at the Directorate General of Public Diplomacy and Strategic Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the event, Prof. Dr. Y\u00fcksel \u00d6zgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society, presented the Turkish Ambassador to Vienna, HE G\u00fcrsel D\u00f6nmez, with a selection of the institution\u2019s recent publications. In addition, Prof. Dr. \u00d6zgen paid a visit to the graves of Ottoman soldiers who were martyred during World War I and are interred at Vienna\u2019s Central Cemetery. The following day, the conference continued in Salzburg, commencing with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Y\u00fcksel \u00d6zgen and Mrs. G\u00fcnay Babado\u011fan Ertan, Consul General of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye in Salzburg. On the same day, Prof. Dr. \u00d6zgen met with Prof. Erwin Schmidl from the Austrian National Defense Academy, with whom he held discussions on potential areas of cooperation in the field of military history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The concluding session of the conference series held in Austria commenced on May 26, 2025, with opening remarks delivered by Prof. Dr. Y\u00fcksel \u00d6zgen, President of the Turkish Historical Society, and Ms. Asiye Nurcan \u0130pek\u00e7i, Consul General of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye in Bregenz.
